Itinerary
Let's start our day by taking a scenic route through Navajo territory. After a stop for the breakfast in St. GeorgeIn Utah, home to the world's oldest continuously active Mormon temple, we venture further into Navajo territory, approaching the mighty Colorado River and stopping for a visit to "Horseshoe Bend", breathtaking sight where the river flows and winds around the rocks, creating a fascinating U-shaped bend (called Horseshoe) beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world.
We then continue to the place where "Water runs through rocks" according to local Navajo folklore. We visit Lower Antelope Canyon and its spectacular wind, water, and sand-carved dunes; words alone cannot describe these formations crafted by Mother Nature. A local Navajo guide will take us on a tour of the canyon and show us the beauty of sunlight beams shining through the cracks in the canyon walls, creating sensational photographic opportunities. After a lunch break, we head to the panoramic viewpoint of Glenn Canyon to take one last look at this spectacular area before making our way back to Las Vegas, where we are expected to arrive in the evening.
