Itinerary
Day 1:
LAS VEGAS – SEDONA
We start our tour by traveling through the Mojave Desert towards the Colorado Plateau and the historic Route 66, before reaching Sedona, also known as the jewel of the desert and considered one of the most beautiful places in North America. We traverse the magnificent panorama of Oak Creek Canyon, which descends from 2000 feet (610 meters) down to the valley floor. We stop for some breathtaking photos of the famous red rocks and the scenic Oak Creek Canyon, which dominates the view of the park landscape.
Lunch break in Sedona where you can indulge in shopping for local Native American crafts or explore the city's shops and boutiques.
Immediately after lunch break, we visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross (self-guided tour using local shuttle services), then continue with a scenic tour of Sedona through its red rocks, including the famous Bell Rock, the Courthouse Butte, and the Cathedral Rock. In the late afternoon, we leave Sedona and head towards Page for our overnight stay.
Overnight stay: Quality Inn View of Lake Powell
Day 2:
SEDONA – MONUMENT VALLEY - HORSESHOE BEND
We begin the day by heading towards Monument Valley, a famous iconic symbol of the American West and one of the most photographed places in the world. We thus arrive in the heart of Navajo Indian culture, where this spectacular natural park lies with its majestic stone towers towering from 400 to 1000 feet (300 meters), surrounded by mesas, buttes, shrubs, and trees. Our tour begins with a 4x4 off-road ride with a local Navajo guide. The ride will take us down into the valley so we can experience firsthand why this place is considered one of the most spectacular in the world. We then proceed to the majestic Colorado River to visit the renowned "Horseshoe Bend," another magnificent region of the United States.
Overnight stay: Quality Inn View of Lake Powell
Day 3:
CANYON ANTILOPE – VALLE DEL FUOCO – LAS VEGAS
We start the day where "the water flows through the rocks" as the Navajo Indian folklore tradition goes. We then visit the upper part of Antelope Canyon and the spectacular dunes created by wind, water, and sand; there are no words that can describe these creations of Mother Nature. After our excursion, we leave this fantastic area to return to Las Vegas. On the way back, after lunch break, we stop at the "Valley of Fire," so named for its fabulous red rocks created during the dinosaur era, nearly over 105 million years ago. Our tour is scheduled to witness the sunset, covering the Valley of Fire with its powerful sun rays (weather conditions permitting).
We arrive in Las Vegas in the early evening.
